Like yesterday 2 bomb blasts occur in City of Peshawar killing so many other in My Home Town Shabqadar killing kids, Pakistan Army general public. The situation no a days shows that Pakistan will be converted in small part every part will be another state or country. Islam doesn't teach to kill some one, no religion tells you to kill some one for no reason. Suicide bomb blasts killed so many people in pakistan in past few years.
Please pray for those innocent people who are the victims of these bomb blasts.

Tanker mafia draining away Rs50bn annually

Tanker mafia draining away Rs50bn annually

Karachi: Everyday, 272 million gallons of water is being siphoned illegally into Karachi, according to a research conducted by the non-profit non-governmental organisation, Urban Resource Centre (URC) and the Orangi Pilot Project. The annual budget of the Karachi Water and Sewerage Board (KWSB), which is supposed to supply water throughout the city, is Rs5.3 billion. In contrast, the water being illegally siphoned off is worth Rs49.6 billion, meaning that if the water theft is contained, the utility can become a profitable organisation.

In Karachi, where the population rises by the size of the population in Islamabad every year due to internal migration, there two sources of water supply. One is the River Indus, which supplies 645 million gallons per day (mgd) of water, although this amount is dwindling owing to the impact of climate change. The other is the Hub dam, where supplies fluctuate between 30mgd and 75mgd, depending on rainfall.

Before any of the water reaches the Dhabeji pumping station, Pakistan Steel and Port Qasim Authority is supplied with 30mgd. The city is therefore left with 665mgd. From here, tankers managed by Rangers allegedly siphon the precious resource in collaboration with officials from the KWSB.

The KWSB has nine official hydrants managed by Rangers. The official rate for water supplied through tankers ranges from 15 paisas/gallon to 25 paisas/gallon, depending on the distance the water has to travel and whether it is for residential or commercial use. The rates are Rs150 to Rs250 for 1,000 gallons, Rs300 to Rs450 for 2,000 gallons, Rs450 to Rs800 for 3,000 gallons, and Rs1,200 for 5,000 gallons. Officially, Rangers are authorised to supply 13.75mgd water through 13,750 tanker trips. However, 25mgd water is supplied through only 8,377 tanker trips. Sometimes, the water is charged at double the usual rate, depending on the distance it has to travel, how well clients bargain, and the season.

“The job to supply water was given to Rangers in the 1990s on a temporary basis. They were supposed to supply it to water-starved areas, but it has become such a lucrative business that they are not ready to give it up,” said Mohammad Nauman, an associate professor at NED University of Engineering and Technology, who has written extensively on water issues. Apart from the nine official hydrants, there are 161 unofficial hydrants or water filling stations. Most of these are located near the bulk distribution mains. According to the URC, there are six areas in the city where clusters of hydrants and filling points have been reported. These can be found at the Hub reservoir to Banaras Chowk along the Manghopir Road, at Banaras Chowk to Guttar Bagicha, at Mewashah graveyard to Shershah along the Lyari river, near Saba Cinema at Ayub Goth in North Karachi, along the National Highway near Malir, and in Lalabad, Landhi.

As many as 5,000 tankers are affiliated with the Private Tankers Association, which makes 50,000 to 60,000 trips supplying 185mgd to 222mgd water. Seventy per cent of this supply goes to industries. The bulk supply to towns is 293mgd. There is a shortfall of 260mgd to 308mgd, which is being met by the tanker mafia. To put this in perspective, the city gets 333mgd water from unofficial hydrants, and a mere 25mgd from official hydrants.

Nauman feels that to prevent water theft, it has become necessary to hand over the pipelines to union councils (UC) and towns and install water meters in homes. He thinks that these UCs and towns should pay a certain portion of the water tax. Mohammad Younus, Director, URC, agrees, and added, “The KWSB should have its own power generation to contain water scarcity due to frequent power breakdown in the city.”

Meanwhile, Dr Shahana Urooj, Chairperson, Department of Microbiology and Dean, Faculty of Science, University of Karachi said that the KWSB water supply is contaminated. “A number of studies were carried out by the department of microbiology. They found traces of potential human pathogens, suggesting the water is contaminated with sewage,” she said. She warned that this can cause diarrhoea, enteric fevers, and bacterial problems such as campylobacter, salmonella, shigella, virulent E.coli, and viruses like rota and Norwalk.

At least 70 people have been killed and dozens injured in twin suicide bombings outside Pakistan's main munitions factory in the town of Wah, police say.

The attack is the deadliest on a military site in Pakistan's history.

Police say one man is in custody for the attack, which occurred some 30km (18 miles) north-west of Islamabad.

A spokesman for the Pakistani Taleban said they had carried out the attacks, which he said were a response to army violence in the country's north-west.

Speaking to the BBC, Maulvi Umar of the Tehrik-e-Taleban Pakistan said the bombings in Wah were in retaliation for the deaths of "innocent women and children" in the tribal area of Bajaur.

He said more attacks would take place in Pakistan's major urban conurbations unless the army withdrew from the tribal areas.

Pakistani Prime Minister Prime Minister Yousef Raza Gilani promised to punish the perpetrators.

The leaders "reaffirmed their mutual support for going after these extremists that are a threat to Pakistan, the United States and the entire world," a White House spokesman said.

Wah is a strategically important town normally under heavy security as it is home to a large industrial complex producing conventional arms and ammunition, correspondents say.

'Great suffering'

The first blast took place outside the gate of the factory as workers were leaving work during a shift change.

Minutes later, another blast took place at a market nearby another gate of the same factory.

There was smoke, bodies and blood. Those who were left alive were in great suffering

Mohid Ahmed, eyewitness

Pakistan's spiral of violence

Local police chief Nasir Khan Durrani told the BBC: "Many others have been injured and we expect casualties to rise."

Mohid Ahmed, a student from Wah, was on a tour of the ordnance factories and witnessed the immediate aftermath of the blast from his bus.

"There was smoke, bodies and blood," he told the BBC.

"Those who were left alive were in great suffering. I saw a man clutching his leg and crying in pain and asking for help."

PLease Spread it to the Mouth of World, please STOP this terrorist attacks, bomb attacks. This is Totally inhuman to kill each other. They killed innocent people they are not human they are Animal. Pakistan is no more safe to live, Peace is a Dream in Pakistan. it makes me cry when i hear about terrorist attacks.
For GOD Sack please Stop it who ever it is. Just Stop it Don't kill humanity. Please Pray for all who were died in these terrorist attacks.

At least 25 people have been killed in a suicide bomb attack on a hospital in Pakistan's North West Frontier Province.

The attack happened at midday as Shia Muslims gathered at the hospital in Dera Ismail Khan district to mourn a local leader who had been shot dead.

There was also more fighting between militants and soldiers in the Bajaur district on the Afghan border.

The violence comes a day after Pervez Musharraf resigned as president.

Two police officers were believed to be among the dead and at least 24 other people were injured, police said.

The attack took place outside the hospital's emergency centre, where mourners had gathered after the body of local Shia leader Zaffar Jajjee was brought in.

Police officials say the suicide bomber blew himself up in a dense crowd.

An emergency was declared at the hospital and a tight security cordon thrown around the compound.

Maulvi Omar, a spokesman for the militant group Tehrik-e-Taleban Pakistan, told the BBC Urdu service that it had carried out the attack.

"We have carried out the attack in retaliation for the government's actions in Bajaur," he said.

"Musharraf may be gone but his policies remain."

Over the last three weeks, 15 people have been killed in Dera Ismail Khan in drive-by sectarian shootings.

Almost all are blamed on the Lashkar-e-Jhangvi, Pakistan's deadliest militant group, which is known to have close links to al-Qaeda and the Taleban.

The current situation in Pakistan needs solid steps towards Peace Activities stress upon the Government of Pakistan to Control Extremist Islamic militants. Its the duty of Pakistani Government to provide Peace safty to General public.

There will be More Suicides in Pakistan in Coming Future:
I hope not, but I am predicting this because of the Increasing Prices of Oil, Gas Grocery. It directly effect middle/lower income grade it will make the poor people life’s miserable. I saw very high ratio of unemployment. This increase will be the very important factor of coming Suicides in PAKISTAN. The government is not facilitating the poor lower class; they are fed up of their lives. This high increase in daily used stuff, grocery, Gas oil will make the people die.
I hope it not happen but I saw a few cases in past so that’s why now when its crazy increase in daily used stuff the unemployment ration is high so I am worrying about the results.
I think the Government of Pakistan should take pretty on their Nation give them some relief. They want development but not increase in daily used stuff.

Terrable Situation in Pakistan (Right Now My Country is know as UN Safe Country of the World)
Whats Going on in Pakistan? Every citizin is saying like this,.........UN Safe Feeling, terror, fear...... No Peace of Mind in my Country.........Very Bad situation.

Current Bad News About Pakistan's Beautiful City (SWAT VALLEY) It was know as Switzerland of Pakistan

Residents flee as unrest spreads in Swat

Main City of Swat (MINGORA): Authorities Saturday recovered the bodies of 13 persons including six law-enforcement personnel killed by militants a day earlier in different localities of Matta, sources said.

Among the killed security officials, three were FC personnel and the same number of policemen. The bodies of some of the deceased were dragged by the miscreants in Shakardara bazaar, the sources said.

Sirajuddin, spokesman for Maulana Fazlullah, said seven other people kidnapped Friday from the same minibus had also been killed, but there was no immediate confirmation from officials.

The spokesman claimed the killings were carried out by local residents who back the Maulana Fazlullah's objectives.

"It (the killing) was done by common people, who support us because we only want enforcement of Islamic laws," Sirajuddin told a foreign news agency.

Another local security official, speaking on condition of anonymity because he feared for his safety, said militants paraded the severed heads in the bazaar of the nearby town of Matta.

In the meanwhile, Maulana Fazlullah, who shortened his visit and returned from Kohistan, has agreed to hold peace talks with authorities on condition that the government would implement Shariah (Islamic law) in the valley.

Sources, however, revealed that trade of fire resumed between security forces and local Taliban after hours of lull in Imam Dheri.

In the wee hours of Saturday, Taliban cordoned off and set on fire the house of district nazim Shangwatai, Matta, Jamal Nasir Khan, however, no casualty was reported as the nazim had shifted to Islamabad few days back after an attack on him.

Authorities Saturday dropped leaflets from a helicopter in Imam Dehri and its surrounding areas urging residents to help police and paramilitary forces eliminate extremism and terrorism from the Swat valley.

"You must remember that establishing Islamic courts, implementation of Shariah and bringing peace is the first priority of the government," it said in the local Pashtu language.

Taliban spokesman denied the cleric's involvement in the bombing, saying he wanted peace in the region and only wanted to impose Islamic law.

"If the government agrees to enforce Islam, we will lay down arms today," Sirajuddin said. He demanded the release of Sufi Muhammad, Fazlullah's father-in-law who was jailed in 2002 for having sent thousands of volunteers to Afghanistan during the US-led invasion in 2001.

On Saturday, this scribe visited Fazlullah's sprawling seminary at Imam Dheri, which was being guarded by dozens of militants. The seminary was not damaged by Friday's fighting.

Militants armed with AK-47 assault rifles and submachine guns manned checkpoints on the road leading to Imam Dheri and checked every vehicle. Other long-haired and bearded fighters, wearing turbans and covering their faces, stood at the roadside.

In another development, unknown persons surrounded police check post in Char Bagh Bazar and targeted it with rockets and automatic weapons.

Series of explosions were also resumed in Kabal and adjoining areas and residents started fleeing from Koza Banda and Barah Banda areas.

APP adds: NWFP Secretary Home Badshah Gul Wazir Saturday said situation in Swat on was quite normal as no incident of exchange of fire was reported in the valley.

He said one incident of firing was reported last night when militants attacked a check post in Char Bagh area. Secretary Home said a group of militants equipped with heavy weapons attacked the check post established in the area for maintenance of peace. The post was manned by 20 FC personnel and 10 policemen, who effectively retaliated fire for three hours as a result of which attacking militants retreated and later escaped from the scene.

He said situation in Matta, Char Bagh and Sambat was tense where the security forces faced resistance.

The militants, he continued, have taken positions on hilltops in Sambat, Mariam and Khwazakhela areas.

Forces deployed in the area, Gul continued, were directed to show maximum restraint and fully avoid collateral damage in case of any encounter with the militants

WE WANT PEACE Thats It..........Please No Blood Shit.

25 killed as suicide blast rocks City (PESHAWAR)

25 killed as suicide blast rocks City

A suicide attack in Marhaba Hotel near Naz Cinema opposite Masjid Mahabat Khan around 1pm left at least 25 people dead and more than 30 injured on Tuesday.

The explosion was so powerful that it completely destroyed the interior furniture of the hotel, converting it into pieces, and the windows of the building were thrown out of their frames.

All the clients who were present in the hotel, including two women, were killed on the spot while the dead bodies of the hotel owner and his relatives were found outside the hotel building on the road.

An employee of the hotel, Hassan, by good luck escaped unhurt as he was checking the dishes outside the main building at the time of the explosion.

Hassan told the Statesman that he went out to check the dishes and suddenly a powerful shock threw him away on the ground.

"I was not able to understand what had really happened to me, but I managed to walk toward the front gate of the hotel and there I saw the most shocking scene of my life as Haji Sahib (Haji Salahuddin - the owner) and his two sons were lying on the road - all of them dead - and the clients in the hotel were also lying on the ground near their chairs as no one around the 12 tables was alive," claimed Hassan, adding that people from the nearby mosque rushed to help and all the dead and injured were shifted to the nearby Lady Reading Hospital. Emergency was declared in the hospital and main gates were closed for general public.

The powerful blast left most of the bodies of the clients, including a woman, who were inside the building, in a very bad shape as their skulls were found broken into pieces.

Those killed in the explosion were identified as Inam, Ainuddin, Shiraz, Haji Muhammad Khan, Haji Khiam, Jafar, Salahuddin, Mehmudullah, Khan Muhammad, Parvana Bibi, Marjana Bibi, Nazir, Shaukat, Imran, Muhammad Sher, Hassan Abdal, Karim Shah, Fazal Subhan, Zayad Khoja, Abdul Qayum, Sharif Gul and Abdul Matin.

Some of the injured included: Painda, Muzamil, Subhan, Naeem, Abdul Halim, Mir Zaman, Muhammad Anwar, Musafar, Nauman, Haji Pervez, Shakil, Mujahid, Ayaz, Khitab Gul, Muhammad Hussain, Marjan and Jamaluddin.

Police said that they had found two legs without any body and they were suspecting that the explosion was the doing of a suicide bomber. However, they made it clear that the hotel was a soft target which could be hit easily and so it was unlikely that any one would use a suicide bomber against it and they would be able to discover the truth through further investigations.

The provincial law minister, Malik Zafar Azam, told reporters that it was without any doubt a suicide attack as they had recovered two legs and on one of the legs there is a warning that 'whoever dared to work for the US would meet the same fat'. On the other leg, there was a warning in Persian which was being examined, he added. When contacted, the SSP, investigation, Qazi Jamil, said that it was a suicide bombing and they would investigate the matter.

5kg explosives used in device

Police investigation team has confirmed a high intensity and quantity explosives were used in Marhaba Restaurant bomb.

According to the police, 4 to 5 kilograms of explosives were used in the bomb. "During initial investigations, it was confirmed that about 5km of explosives were used in the device," an official said.

Compensation announced

NWFP Chief Minister Akram Khan Durrani on Tuesday announced Rs100,000 for the heirs of each victim who were killed in blast here at a hotel.

The Chief Minister also announced Rs50,000 each for the critical injured and Rs25,000 each for those who sustained minor injuries, according to a statement issued here.

Experts’ team inspects site

A team of experts has been sent from Islamabad to assist the process of investigation. The team visited the site of the blast and inspected the wreckages and collected the body parts which would be sent for DNA tests.

The investigation team would be led by SSP Investigation Qazi Jamil while the DIG investigation Fayyaz Toru would supervise the whole process.
